Cannabis Info Network

The Cannabis Information Network (CIN) was founded in May 2011. The conceptual idea for this organization was simply to campaign the repeal of federal marijuana prohibition on a social media platform, I have come to learn that this method has been mostly ineffective in communicating the message that, it is “The People” that want marijuana legalization.

The Cannabis Information Network is becoming the most dynamic, volunteer-powered and supported pro marijuana legalization organization that is powered by “The People”.

By the Cannabis Information Network becoming a volunteer powered and supported legalization movement, CIN will grow by the power of “The People” and the talents they bring in support of this important cause. This joint effort will make the Cannabis Information Network (CIN) the most diverse and driven pro marijuana legalization organization in existence. CIN will provide the media and general public alike with out-of-the-box thoughts, non-mainstream news and alternative views that provide accurate and honest information about cannabis and hemp legalization.

CIN Mission Statement
The Cannabis Information Network is an organization that advocates for the repeal of Marijuana Prohibition and is committed to bringing peace, justice and reform to the marijuana legalization movement. We will provide broadcasts and other forums with a local and national emphasis on marijuana/hemp legalization that promotes creativity, inspiration and political vitality.

CIN Values Statement
The Cannabis Information Network will advocate for the repeal of marijuana prohibition, peace, social and environmental justice through independent media and programming neglected by the mainstream. We embrace diversity, tolerance of others’ opinions and freedom of expression.

CIN Vision Statement
The force that drives this organization is its sense of values, and therefore CIN will provide programs and information that is consistent with these values.

Our news, music, arts, cultural, social programs and community events will cover a wide spectrum of expression reflecting the diversity CIN encompasses. We strive to foster an appreciation and realization of cannabis and the benefits it serves as well as cannaculture that is not regularly viewed by the general public.

Our news and information will emphasize controversial, neglected, and non-mainstream points of view on important local as well as national or global marijuana legalization issues, illuminating CIN’s values.

We are committed to the values expressed by our mission, especially as they relate to issues involving the marijuana legalization movement. We offer an outlet for expression by members regardless of their social status, race, gender, or sexual orientation, and by our activities hope to promote marijuana legalization, peace, goodwill and a sense of community beyond the confines of our web presence.
